Tales from the Trail
This year is off to a great start! Bigfoot Betty and the Glam Squad were seen spreading awareness at Squatchfest in January.

Squatch Fest was a SUCCESS!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a story, grabbed some Bigfoot Betty swag, or simply showed support. My heart is so full. This weekend reminded me exactly why Bigfoot Betty exists.
A message to the Glam Squad: You are absolutely amazing. Donating two full days of your lives to support this mission means more than words can say. This does not happen without you. 💕
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE EVENT
Because of your support, we raised enough funds to create 5 chemo totes for individuals going through treatment.
We met a family with a loved one currently on their cancer journey, and we were able to send them home with a Trailblazer Tote right when they needed it most.
We made connections with so many incredible vendors, opening the door for future partnerships and collaborations to grow this mission even further.
And most of all, we felt the love and support of the entire community; every smile, hug, conversation, and kind word.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared space with us, and helped Bigfoot Betty leave pink footprints with purpose.

Warrior Watch
This section is dedicated to raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and honoring the strength of those affected by different forms of cancer. Because knowing the signs can save lives, and supporting the fighters is what Bigfoot Betty does best.
February is primarily National Cancer Prevention Month, focusing on reducing cancer risk through healthy lifestyle choices, screenings, and vaccinations. Around 1.9 million Americans are diagnosed with cancer each year. Experts estimate that more than 40% of cancers may be linked to preventable causes such as tobacco use, unhealthy diet, and physical inactivity.

In addition to prevention efforts, February also highlights awareness for Gallbladder and Bile Duct Cancers, helping bring attention to these less common but serious diseases.
Gallbladder cancer is a rare cancer that is often difficult to detect early because symptoms can be subtle or mistaken for common digestive issues. As a result, many cases are diagnosed at later stages. We’re raising awareness to encourage early advocacy, better education, and support for those affected by this often-overlooked cancer.
Bile Duct Cancer, also known as cholangiocarcinoma, affects the ducts that carry bile from the liver to the digestive system. Early symptoms can be vague, making diagnosis especially challenging. By highlighting bile duct cancer this month, we aim to support awareness, research, and the warriors and families navigating this rare disease.
Mark your calendar for World Cancer Day on February 4th, an international day dedicated to raising awareness, encouraging early detection, and supporting those affected by cancer worldwide.
This month, let’s honor every warrior! Those in treatment, in remission, and those we remember; by spreading knowledge, supporting healthy choices, and standing together in hope.
From all of us at Bigfoot Betty: keep going, warrior. Your story is far from over!
Until Next Time
We’re grateful for all of the community support. Whether it’s a like, a share, a purchase, or a prayer, keep blazing trails and spreading hope.
We’ll be back next month with more news, more stories, and of course more Bigfoot Betty.
In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for Bigfoot Betty!
With hope, heart, and sass,
The Bigfoot Betty Team
